2025 FWCS Career Academy Signing Day

Fort Wayne Community Schools Career Academy celebrated its annual signing day on Tuesday, where Microtech officially welcomed Addison Jones to our team.  The ceremony, held at the Grand Wayne Convention Center's Anthony Wayne Ballroom, celebrated over 100 students committing to local employers.

The annual signing day event, which mimics college athletic signing ceremonies, brought together dozens of local employers across various industries.  Students were called to the stage by industry and formalized their commitments with signatures, celebrating the successful bridge from education to employment.

The Career Academy program continues to serve as a vital pipeline connecting skilled students with local employers, helping to address workforce needs while providing students like Addison with meaningful career opportunities.

 We're thrilled to welcome Addison to our team.  The skills and dedication she demonstrated during her internship made her an excellent fit for our company.  We look forward to supporting Addison's growth and development as she begins her professional journey with us at Microtech Welding.
