
On Friday, October 3rd, Microtech Welding Corp. participated in the annual Manufacturing Day event hosted by ARCH Medical Solutions at their Warsaw, Indiana, facility.
The event brought together local manufacturers with the goal of showcasing modern manufacturing to inspire the next generation of talent.
Throughout the day, approximately 160 students from Warsaw area high schools attended in three groups, rotating through exhibits highlighting various stages of the manufacturing process. Microtech's booth engaged students in discussions about the critical role precision welding plays in producing high-quality medical devices and implants for the orthopedic industry.
Experienced Microtech team members shared their knowledge and passion for specialized welding techniques used in medical manufacturing.
Students had the opportunity to see sample components firsthand and learn about the skills needed to succeed in this exciting and growing field.
