When CurvaFix prepared to launch their Low Profile Pelvic Implant System at the Orthopedic Trauma Association's annual meeting in Phoenix last October, the stakes were high.  This wasn't just another conference.  It was the unveiling of their next-generation product, and surgeon interest had exploded beyond expectations.

The previous year, their training lab had drawn about 80 surgeons across 6 stations.  For 2025, over 320 surgeons registered to see the new system.

CurvaFix planned 9 training stations, private booth demonstrations, and a multi-surgeon cadaver lab with livestream capabilities.

The room ended up so packed that photos couldn't capture all the attendees at once.

But none of it would matter if they didn't have product ready, both for the training event and for the customer orders they planned to ship immediately after the conference.

Microtech's precision welding capabilities and ISO 13485:2016 certification enabled close collaboration with CurvaFix to meet the compressed timeline and ensure they had sufficient inventory for both the launch event and initial customer shipments.

After the conference, Olen Chiddix, CurvaFix's Vice President of Operations, reached out

"HUGE thanks to you and every member of the Microtech team who went above and beyond to help us realize this milestone. Without your dedication and 'make it happen' attitude we would not have had enough product to support launching at OTA nor to begin shipping to our customers this week."

The launch was a success, and CurvaFix began shipping their Low Profile Pelvic Implant System to customers right on schedule.
