Makenna Lundy, a recent graduate of Columbia City High School, has accepted a full-time welding position with Microtech Welding Corporation in Fort Wayne.
Makenna interned at Microtech for the last year, gaining valuable experience in laser beam welding, gas metal arc welding, and micro-welding on medical parts, molds, and other components. Her internship allowed her to apply skills from high school classes like blueprint reading, math, coding, and engineering.
