Employee Spotlight: Celebrating Mike Zehner's Journey

We are thrilled to shine the spotlight on one of our invaluable team members, Mike Zehner, at Microtech.  With an impressive 38 years of experience in the welding industry, Mike's expertise and dedication have been instrumental in shaping our success and fueling our commitment to excellence.

Mike's thirst for knowledge led him to Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, where he pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology.  Then, Mike served as a welding instructor at Anthis Career Center for over 25 years.  He currently acts as a mentor to students who participate in work-based learning internships at Microtech.  He has inspired countless students to pursue careers in welding and provided them with the necessary skills to succeed.  Mike's continuous pursuit of learning and deep understanding of the welding industry have been invaluable assets to Microtech.

In addition to his work at Microtech and his teaching career, Mike serves on advisory boards for welding education programs.  His commitment to shaping the future of the welding industry is evident in his involvement in educational initiatives.  Mike helps guide the development of welding standards and ensures that future generations of welders are equipped with the skills needed to excel in the field.

Mike’s passion for welding excellence continues to inspire and elevate our team. We are privileged to have him as a valued member of our organization.
