Employee Spotlight - Ben Jensen

We are highlighting Ben Jensen, a dedicated employee who has been with Microtech Welding for nearly 25 years.  Ben first joined in April of 1998, the third employee hired in those early days.  Over his tenure, Ben has been instrumental in maintaining our machining and tool and die repair services.

As one of our longest-standing employees, Ben brings a wealth of expertise and experience to the team.  Some of Ben's original customers are still bringing him jobs today!  Ben also helps train new employees, especially vocational school students, passing on his decades of hands-on knowledge.

Ben is an expert when it comes to being able to troubleshoot issues.  His versatility working with various metals like steel, aluminum and titanium has also been invaluable as Microtech expanded into medical device manufacturing.

Outside of work, Ben has an interest in gardening and cooking. He enjoys tending to his vegetable and native flower garden during the warmer months.  Ben then turns his homegrown produce into Korean dishes to create fresh meals with distinctive flavors.

We are thankful for Ben’s contributions over his prolific career with us.  His expertise, dedication and longevity make him an ideal team member.  Please join us in congratulating Ben on being our latest honoree to be featured in Employee Spotlight!
