Double-Decker Dream

Two employees have turned their artistic talents and welding expertise into an eye-catching passion project that's turning heads in downtown Fort Wayne.

Ian and Derek had a dream of building a bike that the world had never seen before. The project started with a simple but ambitious idea: create a double-decker bicycle by stacking two vintage tandem bikes.  They located two matching 1960s Sears models and put their expertise to work bringing this unique vision to life.

Working together, they used their welding expertise and creativity to transform the vintage bikes.  The result of their teamwork is a striking red double-decker bicycle that can now be spotted cruising through downtown Fort Wayne.  The project combines classic design with innovative thinking, demonstrating how technical expertise and imagination can create something truly unique.
